Female Masturbation - such a dirty word!
First off, I'd like to mention that I've struggled with being open about this topic. On one hand, I think it is important to spread the word that female masturbation is 'okay', and if I have to contribute to that cause by being open about it, then so be it!. [I also realize a lot of females are okay with it, but an equal amount are not, so thats why I am writing this and who I am referring to].

On the other hand, sex is something that is very personal to me, which is why I still abstain, etc. But since I am talking about masturbating, and this is for a good cause and all that... I guess it's okay :D

So now that that's out of the way, women and men treat sex differently. I don't care if you want to argue with me, that both sexes treat it the same, because they do not. For example, if a young girl is molested by a teacher, she is going to be horrified and have extreme mental trauma, if a young boy is molested by a [female] teacher part of him is going to be thinking 'fuck yeah' and the other part is going to be horrified and have extreme mental trauma. Or rather, rape, I know both a woman and a man who have been raped [although the girl will not call it rape, but in my opinion and every definition of the word, it was rape, or if you rather, it was date-rape]. The girl attempted to make a relationship out of it, not really knowing what to do, whereas the boy didn't really care and even continues to make jokes about it. Differences differences. Women and men also mature at different ages, women tend to mature quicker, I think this might be an attempt to catch up with man's rampant sexuality, but who knows.

Not only that, but women simply don't know HOW to masturbate. Young girls don't know much about their genitals, we weren't raised to know. This is probably societal, where women are supposed to be pure, wear the white to signify virginity [which is one reason why marriage is B.S., but I wont get into that], and just generally not be promiscuous. Masturbating does not come naturally to most women, unlike the way it does for men. I'm assuming this is part societal, and another part biological. I myself didn't learn on my own (unlike most men), but I was taught inadvertently. I just happened to be watching a program on MTV about high school, Kathy Griffin was making a joke about it, then I was like 'oh shit' and ta-dah, I knew. (So thanks Kathy, you've made my life a happier place.) I have no idea how other women learned, but I'd say for women it's something you definitely have to WANT to learn, it's not like with men how you wake up in the middle of the night, with jizz all over your bed, and decide you should probably prevent this from happening by getting rid of your load earlier.

And this is one of the reasons why I think it is very important for women to masturbate, even moreso than men (or at least as much as men). For women it is taught or comes naturally, but with men it seems to almost be forced. Many women can go through life and never masturbate and know their own genitalia. In all honesty, this depresses me like crazy! Every single girl I know who has had sex, doesn't masturbate. The ways in which they first experienced sex where also very strange indeed. One girl never even saw her partners penis when they were having sex. Honestly? What? If some guy told me he wanted to have sex with me but not look at my vulva...well, I'd be very disturbed. To me that speaks of someone who truely knows nothing about their own sexuality. And this girls case, and many other girls, HE was the one who taught HER about sex/her sexuality. A man will never teach me about my genitalia and what I enjoy, because thankfully, I already know. I don't think it's right that the women I know [not all women of course] depend upon men to teach them. Ladies, for gods sake, experience yourself. No MAN should teach you about your body.

I almost feel somewhat bad about this for not being open about it earlier. A couple of female friends and I were in a sex shop, somehow it came up, somehow I said I had, and one of them asked me how. I was too embarassed and unsure about it at the time to say anything, but now if I am asked again, I'm certainly sharing. Women need to know after all :P

There is this incredible social stigma about women and their va-jay-jays, probably put in place by men, and then followed and built upon by women. I would explain that, but I'm too lazy to. BASICALLY, pleasing yourself isn't for only fat and ugly people. For example, I am neither fat nor ugly and (crudely put) men want to fuck me all the time. So it's not like I can't get it. I literally had a female friend who said the only person she knew who masturbated was her 300 pound aunt, who just ate and masturbated all day. Okay...and? AND AND AND? Just because your fatty aunt does something doesn't make me want to NOT do it (I mean, the lady eats right? I'm still eating). Masturbating is a completely naturally and healthy thing to do. I think it's far more healthy than NOT masturbating. If I didn't know such a thing existed, I'd be a total whore, and well, I don't WANT to be a total whore. Sex, to me, is something very personal between two people, it's the closest you can get to another person. So no, I am not going to screw anyone and everyone.

Alright now this is getting jumpy, this isn't a coherent post at all, oh well. Haha, I don't have anything else to say. I guess my main points are:

1. If you know your body, you are more likely to be able to teach your partner about what you like.

2. Ladies, do not let a man teach you about your body (because quite frankly most young men only think about themselves).

3. Masturbating is completely natural and not only for fat old ladies and ugly people, and for that matter, sex is the same. Everyone has pussies and dicks, and everyone's going to use them. If you are stuck in a 'only attractive people get laid' mode, well wow... I don't even know what to say to that. (Except, you're wrong).

4. Masturbating relieves tension, stress, and helps you sleep.

Don't go on a date, stay home and masturbate!

Lol.

Oh and this is just funny, thanks to http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Sex

"The common known sex position 3- (not to be confused with 69) is when a man opens up his anus and simultaneously shoves into it a sharp object, such as a knife, after which he will die. Another common sex position is 99 which happens when a pencil is shoved up one man's anus by his homosexual partner who then asks him to do the same, both end up dead sooner or later, that is unless you are immortal. A rare sex position is 6 where the poor man is left alone. Perhaps the rarest of all positions is the 9 where a woman cannot find a partner. There hasn't been a "9" reported in the last two decades, although it's rumored that one occurred with Hilary Clinton during Bill's first night at the Whitehouse. If you use SHARPIES, they work well also. Plus, They create a higher pleasure standard. The vibrating end of a toothbrush works best, If you are too poor to buy a dildo. Note: NOT THE END WITH BRISTLES. A more frequent position is the 96, usually performed amongst married couples, where both parties are lying in bed thinking the other's asleep and are secretly attempting to perform oral pleasures upon themselves. Another very common position is the "690", in which two people perform 69, and a very fat man lies in bed next to them and watches."

I LOLed at the last sentence.

I'm glad when people don't mind my random popping up to comment :D I think I saw you from a community and clicked your name out of curiosity. Not creepy lol

Anyway, I know there are posts about "learning" to masturbate there. You might have to dig a bit lol. I always found them interesting which is why they stand out to me. It's like something you do and never have a name for until one day it's like "oh! so that's what it is!"

Some members are discussing what age they started. Close to the topic at least.

someone asks "how did you learn" but it wasn't answered directly.

You may have seen these pages already and sorry if they're reposts to you.

Anytime ^_^
